How can you tell the difference between a 1997 toyota celica coupe and liftback?

I bought a 1997 toyota celica not that long ago but i couldnt tell what trim it was like a ST or GT. The owner didnt know anything at all. So my question is how can i tell from details from the car if it is a ST or GT? Also how could i tell if it is a coupe or liftback? i couldn't get anything out of the manual.|||Give your VIN to a Toyota dealer and they can tell you all kinds of stuff about the car.

If your Celica has a 1.8L engine, it's an ST and if it's a 2.2L, it's a GT.

On a liftback model, the rear glass raises when you pop the trunk. The back glass is close to the size of the windshield. A coupe's back glass is shorter and does not move when you open the trunk. Only a conventional decklid opens when you pop the trunk.
