Is a 2006 Toyota tundra a good vehicle to buy?

I bought a 2006 toyota tundra recently. Is this a reliable vehicle?|||I've sold Tundras and Silverados. Your truck is the last year of that body style and absolutely has the bugs worked out. It doesn't have the best turning radius but other than that and looking different, it's a winner. Check out a Consumer Reports or Edmunds online. The proof is in the pudding. These Tundras have less problems than all other makes. As far as towing and payload capacity, they aren't the clear winners, but to answer your question about reliability, it takes the gold. |||I'm a automotive technician at toyota . Toyotas are poorly made ,they don't hold a reasonable resale value and they always come in with transmission problems and engines overheating . I own a 05 siverado and it is a great truck it has 227,000 miles on it and hasn't given me a problem . i plan to keep it for another 130,000 miles.|||I think Toyota had some reliability and quality issues with their trucks a few years ago but they improved the new models.

Should be alright though. Just make sure that your next truck is a Ford, Chevy, or Dodge.
