I have a 1984 Toyota Celica that runs good right now, but I'd like to add some power to the little 4-banger engine. This car has a 22-RE, EFI. I would like to tune it up buying the least amount of parts as possible, but able to give it maximum power without buying the parts. I understand that sometimes you need to buy parts, but if there is a way without, I would like to know.|||You could pray to the performance gods for intervention for free.
Otherwise you'll have to spend some money on spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, spark plug wires, oil filters etc.
