Does the Toyota Yaris have as good of a reputation as other Toyota cars?

The Toyota Yaris has recently peaked my interest with it's low price tag and amazing gas mileage, but is it's reputation as solid as other cars in the Toyota line? Also, I'm 6'5" and a little hefty, but I've heard the Yaris sedan has great leg room. Would I fit in this thing?|||i do not know if you would be able to fit in one, answer this yourself by going to the dealership to buy one.

if you live in a small city, it would be a little harder to find.

also, the car is very safe size does not have alot to do with safety, back in the 70's they had cars half that size.

as for reliability, it is expected to be very good. On the other hand, the competing car from chevy, the aveo, would does not have a good reliability.|||i drove one before it was nice good economy i just didnt like the gauge cliuster in the center of the dash, its ok i would rate it high up there in 5 7 150 and i fit in it ok although its not that big in the car. interior space.

The 2008 Toyota Yaris reliability score of 7.0 out of 10 is the Predicted Reliability rating provided by J.D. Power and Associates.

Seating

There is little difference in layout between the Toyota Yaris liftback and the sedan -- the hatchback's front seats are adjustable in four ways, while the sedan's will adjust in six and the hatchback's seats fold down while the sedan's do not. Regardless of which model they tried, reviewers paid special attention to the Yaris' interior and had plenty to say.

All reviewers mentioned how the 2008 Toyota Yaris was short on space in the backseat, and although the Sacramento Bee complained that the area suited three basketballs better than three persons, all reviewers also noted that the Yaris' rear passengers space was not much different from other cars in its class.|||The reliability of the Toyota Yaris is excellent. The Yaris' reliability exceeds the average for Toyota's North-American-made vehicles and is about typical for its made-in-Japan vehicles. Some of its distinctions are:

1. The Toyota Yaris is on Consumer Reports' 2009 Most-Reliable list.

2. The 2007 and 2008 Yaris have a CR Much-Better-Than-Average Reliability Verdict.

3. For every model year, from 2000 to 2005, the Toyota Echo, the less interiorly refined predecessor of the Yaris, earned Consumer Reports' Much-Better-Than-Average Reliability Verdict.

4. The Echo is on AutoOnInfo.net's 2008 list of Automobiles with Best Engine Reliability, with an Engine Reliability Rating of +1.00, on a scale of -1.00 to +1.00.

5. The Echo is on AutoOnInfo.net's very exclusive Best-of-2001, Best-of-2002, Best-of-2003, and Best-of-2004 lists. It is No. 1 on the Best-of-2001 list. (The 2004 best list is the most recent best list composed by AutoOnInfo.net.)

6. The manual transmission version of the Toyota Yaris is on ACEEE's 2008 greenest dozen list, number 5 with a Green Score of 46 and with an EPA estimated fuel efficiency of 29 miles per gallon in city and 36 miles per gallon on highway. The automatic transmission version is very close behind, with an EPA estimated fuel efficiency of 29 miles per gallon in city and 35 miles per gallon on highway.
